Go to the Salish Sea Tidal Current Atlas page for more details and the download links
This new tidal current atlas is similar to and leverages knowledge and familiarity with the original DFO Current Atlas (1984), but utilizes a newer and higher resolution tidal model. The new tidal current atlas also covers more regions of the Salish Sea, including a volume for Puget Sound, and soon to follow atlases for the Northeast of Vancouver Island, and the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Volumes 1 & 2 are available now, Volumes 3 -5 are coming shortly.

Mooring Design and Dynamics: This link takes you to my Matlab Mooring Design and Dynamics software package pages (Overview, Users Guide, and File Download). This toolbox provides a simple GUI to build and test taut wire oceanographic moorings under the influence of variable current profiles. It also includes a library of mooring components providing the ability to build and test the state of an oceanographic mooring or a towed oceanographic package. It is free, but you do need Matlab pre-installed. To download the software, please visit Mooring Design and Dynamics via Github.
